Lady Vikings dedicate home game to promote breast cancer awareness
The St. Johns River Community College women’s volleyball team will play its next home game on Thursday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m. The game is significant in that the team will dedicate the game to promote breast cancer awareness. Funds raised from the game’s admission, concession stand and other contributions will be donated to support cancer research.
The team will play Pensacola Junior College at 7:00 p.m. in Tuten Gymnasium on SJRCC’s Palatka campus. Admission is $1 and concessions will be available. “Dig Pink” shirts will also be sold as part of the fundraising effort.
