SJRCC Press Release
October 2009
Beat the Registration Rush!!!
If you have 30 or more credits and you plan to register for Spring 2010 classes, you must see a counselor or your program director to have your registration hold lifted.
If you have already seen a counselor or your program director to lift this hold for Spring 2010 or any previous registrations, you are not required to see a counselor or program director again regarding this hold.
Students planning to graduate should see a counselor the semester prior to the term they anticipate graduating. Please check your online transcript.
Students must meet the CLAS requirement if they are seeking an Associate in Arts (AA) degree. There are multiple options available to satisfy the requirement including any combination of passing test scores and/or courses. If you have any questions about meeting the CLAS requirement, contact your counselor or advisor.
Students who have 29 credits or less are not required to see a counselor.
Check your SJRCC student e-mail immediately and frequently!!! (click this link - MySJRCC)
If you are a student with a disability, you should meet with your campus disability coordinator as soon as possible prior to registration for each term.
All new students (no SJRCC credits) who plan to register for Spring 2010 registration must see a counselor. Also, you will need to contact the nearest counseling office to find out orientation dates and times.
You can determine your credit status by viewing your SJRCC transcript at www.sjrcc.edu and click the link - MySJRCC.
If you notice that courses you may have completed at SJRCC or elsewhere are missing from your transcript, you may want to consult with a counselor or program director to determine if your file is complete and if course registration permits/overrides are needed.
You are encouraged to see a counselor or your program director as soon as possible to prevent any possible delays to your registration.
