SJRCC Open House gives high school students personal look at college life
St. Johns River Community College recently welcomed local high school seniors to its annual Open House to inform the potential freshmen of educational, scholarship and financial aid opportunities while giving them a more in-depth look at college life.
Local high school students toured the campus and attended presentations on the Associate in Arts (transfer) degree as well as programs in respiratory care, computer science, criminal justice and drafting. Students were treated to lunch and a chance to win a $250 scholarship to SJRCC. St. Augustine High School student Monika White won the drawing for the scholarship.
Summer A registration for new students begins March 10. Summer A classes begin May 10. For more information, contact SJRCC at 808-7400.
