SJRCC Foundation Board names members
The St. Johns River Community College Foundation announces the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors: Rob Bradley, Wendell Davis, Dr. Rebecca Faunce and Brad Sloan.
Members are appointed to three-year terms and help direct the Foundation in acquiring and managing private resources that support scholarships and programs not funded by the state budget.
Caroline Tingle, SJRCC’s Vice President of Development and External Affairs, said the Foundation is pleased and honored to be guided by community leaders. “Our members will share their diversity and professional expertise that will help enhance the Foundation’s mission,” Tingle said. “The funding the Foundation provides is vital to the College and greatly enriches the quality of educational, cultural and service programs for our students. Our new members understand the importance of private funding.”
Rob Bradley is a fourth generation Clay County native and a former vice chairman of the Clay County Board of County Commissioners. He is a managing partner with the law firm of Kopelousos & Bradley, P.A. in Orange Park and currently serves as the attorney for both the Town of Orange Park and City of Keystone Heights. Bradley also serves as a member of the SJRCC District Board of Trustees.
Wendell Davis is a licensed realtor and serves as president of the Florida Association of Realtors. He has served as a director and president of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, the chairman of the Clay County Transit Committee and chairman of the Clay County Transportation Advisory Committee.
SJRCC alumnus and Putnam County native Dr. Rebecca Faunce operates two orthodontics offices in St. Augustine and Palm Coast.
SJRCC alumnus Brad Sloan is the chief financial officer for Beck Automotive. The Putnam County resident is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Palatka and serves on the Putnam County Fair Authority Board and the Putnam County Executive Republican Committee.
The Foundation Board’s remaining 18 members are as follows: Wayne McClain, president; Melissa Miller, vice president; Caroline Tingle, secretary-treasurer; Annette Barrineau, Carl Beck, William Cotton, Wendell Davis, Virginia Hall, Terrill Hill, Dr. Joe Maltby, Daniel Martinez, Robert McLendon Jr., Joe Miller II, SJRCC President Joe Pickens and Ronnie Robinson.
