PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH
The District Board of Trustees seeks applications and nominations for the position of President for St. Johns River Community College. The President reports to an
appointed seven-member District Board of Trustees. The Board is seeking a President who is a recognized educational leader and/or an individual who has achieved
distinction, or has accomplished significant positive advances in a related field. He/she will have an earned doctorate degree. The successful candidate should be an involved leader, who possesses the energy and vision to guide the activities of a
comprehensive community college district.
St. Johns River Junior College was established as a Florida public institution in 1958 to serve the counties of Clay, Putnam, and St. Johns. It was one of several public junior
colleges founded in accordance with legislation enacted by the 1957 session of the Florida Legislature. Today, the College operates a full-service campus in each of
its District counties. St. Johns River Community College is very comprehensive in its courses and programs.
