ASSOCIATE IN ARTS DEGREE - the legally recognized transfer degree for the Florida Community College System. It is specifically designed for the student who wishes to transfer into the Florida University System as a university junior. Students earn college credit.
ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE DEGREES -
ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREES - two-year college credit programs for students who are planning to enter a chosen career at the semi-professional level. General education courses help develop a well-rounded individual and enhance employment potential.
COLLEGE CREDIT CERTIFICATES - college credit programs designed to prepare students for immediate entry into a career in the workforce. These programs are one year in length and are an intermediate step toward an AS degree.
A College Credit Certificate consists primarily of specialized courses in a specific career area.
VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATES (PSAV) - Post Secondary Job Training (PSAV) programs prepare students for entry into a given career or vocation. These programs prepare students for specific occupations. Vocational credit is awarded upon completion.
APPRENTICESHIPS - there are several apprenticeship programs in the construction and building trades. An apprenticeship is a training method that combines paid work experience with classroom related instruction.
