STUDENT RESPONSIBLITLITIES

THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. User Name and Password
All students need a User Name and
password to:
- Register online
- Access academic records
and grades
- View unofficial transcripts
- Check tuition and fees due
- Display financial aid information
online
- Check student e-mail
Instructions for e-mail and online registration will be mailed to you within a week of applying or acceptance.
2. Student E-mail
Students should check their e-mail daily at http://mysjrcc.sjrcc.edu

3. Attend all classes
It is important to attend all classes.
4. Study
For every hour you spend in class, study two or three hours outside of the classroom.
5. Ask Questions
Professors are more than glad to help answer any questions you may have.
When possible, meet with your professor during their office hours.
6. Tutoring
Tutoring is available. Be sure to ask your academic advisor if you need help.
7. Program of Study
See your academic advisor for help in choosing your program of study.
8. 30 Plus Credit Hours
Students who have earned 30 credit hours or more must see a counselor before registering for classes.
9. Records
Keep a file of your own personal academic records.
- Degree evaluations
- Transcripts
- Advisement session notes
10. Important Dates
Keep track of important dates.
- Add-drop period
- Last day to withdraw
- College holidays
- Graduation deadline
