INTRODUCTION AND REVIEW

In the Comp I and Comp II tours you learned the definition of information literacy and some techniques for becoming more information literate. You learned the skills and resources needed to research a college-level paper; and at this point, you should be familiar with the kinds of resources available to you and which resources to use to locate the specific kind of information necessary to answer your research needs. You should also be familiar with both LINCC, the online library catalog used by Florida community colleges, and the online full-text periodical and reference databases available through LINCCWeb. If you are unfamiliar with the SJRCC library and its resources you will want to review the Comp I and Comp II tours before beginning this section.

In the Introduction to Literature tour you will focus on literary research and the resources available through the SJRCC libraries and LINCCWeb to help you find the information you will need to research an author or work of literature for your research paper.
