INTRODUCTION AND REVIEW

In the Comp I tour, you learned that "Information Literacy" is the important skill of accessing, evaluating and using information. By familiarizing yourself with sources of information found in libraries and on the Internet and by using those sources effectively, you can become more "information literate." In Comp I, we discussed what information is and introduced some typical library sources and how to use them. You also learned how to use LINCC, SJRCC's online library catalog.

In Comp II, we will narrow our focus to the skills and resources needed to write a college level research paper. This module will walk you through the research process, from choosing a topic to citing your resources.
