CONTINUING EDUCATION - Non-Credit Courses
Continuing Education is an integral part of the total program at SJRCC. Continuing Education extends the college into the community through a variety of non-credit training programs reaching beyond the traditional offerings of the college.
Also... there are NO REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES!
In addition, continuing education programs are designed to provide training opportunities for individuals wanting to upgrade job skills, explore new career fields or personal enrichment!
Continuing Education classes cannot be used to satisfy requirements of a degree/certificate program.

content is determined by the nature of the
material, instructional approach, and needs
of the requesting individuals or organizations.
Continuing education classes may be held on
the campuses or may be conducted wherever
the target group or client has an
available facility.

CONTINUING EDUCATION RECREATION & LEISURE AND JOB ENHANCEMENT COURSES
SJRCC's online continuing education courses are offered through a partnership with Ed2Go.
Registration is flexible and on-going for online Continuing Education classes.
All courses run for six weeks (with a two-week grace period at the end).
All classes are $99.00.
There are NO refunds for online continuing education courses.
Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments,
discussion areas, supplementary links, and more.

Complete any of these courses entirely from your home or office and at any time.

Requirements:
- All courses require regular, dependable access to the Internet, e-mail, and Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- Some courses may have additional requirements.
- Please visit the Online Instruction Center for more information.
- Register anytime up until the first day of the class, pay online, and you're ready!
Getting Started:
1. Visit our Online Instruction Center:
www.ed2go.com/sjrcc
2. Click the "Courses" link, choose the department and course title you are interested in,
and select the "Enroll Now" button.
Follow the instructions to enroll and pay for your
course (MasterCard, Visa, American Express only). Here you will choose a
username and password that will grant you access to the classroom.
3. When your course starts, return to our Online Instruction Center at ed2go and click the "Classroom" link. To begin your studies, simply log in with the username and password you selected during enrollment.

Contract Customized Training for Business and Industry:
The Continuing Education program's division of Contract Customized Training is designed to provide a training resource for business and industry, professional organizations, governmental agencies, and other groups desiring employee skills training or professional development. Programs are offered in various formats including short courses, seminars, workshops, and teleconferences. Course structure and content is determined by the nature of the material, instructional approach, and needs of the requesting individuals or organizations. Contract Customized Training courses may be held on one of SJRCC's campuses or conducted at a facility of the client's choice.
